I got a 93 4runner, how do i know if it's a 4x4 or 4x2? Where can i get headlights for it? which kind of bulbs should i get for the 4runner that'll be nice and bright? What can I do to up the hp from 150 without spending too much? Do those chips on ebay work? they say they add 20hp. Also what can i do to improve fuel economy? I'm sorry for all the newbie questions but i just got the car and don't know anything about it. It was given to me by my uncle who's moving out of the country. Please help. Thank you I really appreciate it for all your input.

Look under the front end. Does it have a differential between the front wheels? Does it have locks on the front hubs?
As far a mods and chips................just drive it for a while and learn about your truck first. If you don't know your truck and add horsepower, does it actually go faster? It's sort of like if a tree falls in the forest and there is nobody there to hear it.........did it make any noise? If you have been driving your truck for a while and then it starts running better/worse or fast/slower, you will know!

Headlights - It should use a 9004 headlight bulb. The Silvania Silver Star headlight bulbs from Autozone are pretty good. You can get high output 100/80w bulbs from http://www.jcwhitney.com and http://www.performanceproducts.com but they won't be street legal.
150 HP you say. You must have the 3.slow (3.0)-v6. There's not alot you can do without wasting alot of money. Install a 2.25" exhaust and a K&N air filter intake kit and you should be good to go.
Headers are a PITA to install. Who knows if those chips really work. The over sized throttle bodies only work well with headers, a cam, and ported heads.
The only real way to improve fuel economy is to run small tires and drive with a light foot. I've got 4.88's, 33"s, 3.0, with an auto and I get 12 MPG.
with a chip you can only use high octane gas. IF you run a low octane gas, your motor will overheat/screw up. (my cousin told me this because he was thinking of one for his chevy, until learned about this issue) Like Dave102429 said, just get a full intake and pipes, and drive lightly to save MPG.

What size are the bulbs? I'm very new to the car because it was given to me. Will the high wattage bulbs melt the headlamp? Also what is street legal wattage and what is the stock specs on the bulbs? Thanks Sorry for all the newbie questions, is there a place i can find all this info? Thanks again.
BTW It's a 1994 4runner not 1993, I made the mistake before hand. Thanks a million members
commonly the chips off ebay do not work. You can usually get the same effect by buying a resistor and wiring it in. the bulbs i believe are 9004. I recommend the sylvania silverstars, i had them on my truck and now have them on my camry and they are briiiiight. High wattage bulbs wont melt the headlamp, and you cant just put high wattage bulbs in, the 9004 will be the only ones to fit unless you do a custom job. I'm not sure about the street legal aspect, its most likely different all over the place but im sure as long as the head lights aren't ridiculusy bright you'll be fine.
