Power antenna relay causes alarm not to work?

1994 Toyota Pickup, Extra Cab, SR5, V6, 4wd, power mirrors, windows, door locks, antenna.

All of a sudden, pushing the buttons on my alarm remote control has no affect on my truck. Normally, the remote arms/disarms the alarm and acts as keyless entry as the truck has power door locks. The remote uses a 12-volt battery and my voltmeter indicates that battery has 12.3 volts.

At the same time, the power antenna no longer retracts when the radio is turned off. The power antenna just remains in the extended position. If I remember correctly, I think I normally hear a relay click as the antenna extends and retracts. I don’t hear anything clicking.

I suspect the two problems are related. I checked all the fuses and they were good. Does anyone know if the power antenna uses a relay? If so, where is it? What else can I check?

Thanks in advance.

FYI, turns out there is an auto antenna relay just above the break pedal. Has eight wires connected to it, but doesn't have any affect on the alarm. The relay shares fuses with the radio, dome, and guage/turn. $150 from the dealer for a new relay.

Unless whoever installed the alarm spliced into the power antenna wire.
