^yes you would. Best bang for the buck. Even both ends should only run you 500 or so, if I remember right. The usual hot rod stuff applies to the engine. Porting, exhaust, and cam. If you have the head and block decked, make sure a total of .020 is removed and buy one of engnbldr's adjustable crank gears for the cam to bring the timing back to spec. Retarded cam timing can kill power. In fact, buy all your parts from engnbldr, great prices and real good guy. Hangs out on 4x4wire. See
