USA toyota p/u 1993 creamy stuff ??!!!

I got 260000 miles i on my P/U. i noticed it is loosing some antifreez. not much, but noticiable, also i see some creamy stuff on the end of the dip stick , could it be antifreez finding its way into the engin somehow???? has anyone seen anything like this , i am gettin ready to sell this old baby which runs great so far, but i am a bit concern !

Could be. But do you use cheaper brand oils like Pennzoil? penz will leave quite a bit of condensation under the oil cap for sure. Change out the oil and see what it really looks like.

i hate to tell you but that sounds a lot like a leaking head gasket. trust me have it checked my 89 pickup had the same problm

which engine? on 22re engines this is usually the timing chain guide broken, the chain rubs on the front cover and through into the water jacket by the water pump.

My votes with ToyoLoyal. The same thing happened to my truck. If you replace the timming, definetly go with the steel guides. They last alot longer.

If it's not the timing, I would definitely look towards a leaking head gasket.

I need to know if its better to pull engine with trans. Or just engine. The trans is find. but i herd its fast to pull both at same time. 90 4runner
