Lightbulb 302 swap?

If I took a 302 out of an '88 thunderbird would it fit in my '89 toy P/U? Could I buy a new bell housing to match up my current tranny with the 302 and how much would that be? Could I buy bolt in motor mounts? Does any one have any documentation on this procedure or any opinions (is it hard/lots of problems)? Are there any other extra things I would need other than a bellhousing and motor mounts (assuming I could use the thunderbirds starter, alt., manifolds, headers, etc.)?

Ugh, putting a Ford into a Toyota. I'd rather be beaten with chains.

They make kits to put a Chevy into a Toy Pup, but I'm not sure about Ford. Check out http://www.downeyoff-road.com/
