4 cylinder heads?

I was hoping someone could tell me the difference between carburated and fuel injected heads for the 4 cylinder engines. They have two different part numbers, so I found out, but they look physically the same. The one part number runs from 88' to 95'. and the other is for 87' and earlier. Can someone please help me? Thanks in advance.
