You are not going to find too many (if any) 2000+ Tacoma's with those specs for that price. Even regular cab 4wd models typically sell for more than that. You may want to consider anything that is a 1996 or newer. You will have a much better chance of finding a 1996-2000 Tacoma that has an auto tranny w/ 4wd (with 60,000 or less miles) in that price range. I would look at autotrader.com or even carmax to get an idea of what trucks with those specs will sell for. Good luck!!

You may have to travel but they are definately out there. I've been frequenting a classifieds website called "craigslist." This site allows you to search by area, citys actually. In my area (Massachusetts) there are a couple of trucks for sale matching your specs automatic and all for well below what you're looking to spend. Anyway, Keep looking. You'll find it.

You wont find a truck like that for that price. For even a '00 you will be looking at spending at least $15,000.

Also, I dont think you be able to find anything older than an '02 with less than 40,000 miles on it.

Most people drive at least 15,000 miles a year, some people even drive 25,000-30,000 miles a year.

Ive seen 2-3 year old 4Runners that have had 80,000 miles on them!
I think that for the money you at looking spend, the BEST you could probably do is a '98 or '99.

FWIW, I just bought a 2000 Tacoma Xtracab 4x4 SR5 V6 with TRD package, 83K miles. Paid $12K for it at a dealership. I've been watching Carmax, Vehix, Autotrader, and some others, and I was really surprised when this one popped up on the market. I really didn't think I'd get a 4x4 with auto trans for that price; almost everything I've seen from 1998+ under $12K has been manual trans, and the 4x4's have been in the $15K+ range. Very happy with it... the previous owner (only one) took very good care of it. All it needed was a new set of tires; everything else checks out OK.
