well, in the last couple weeks i have been noticing that my truck has been leaking antifreeze. i didnt know where it was coming from until yesterday. i looked under the engine and found that it was coming out of the side of the block!!!! I havent checked to see if its a crack or just comin out of a seem, but what do u guys suggest that i do. fix the problem, get new engine?
i would prefer to get it fixed (if possible) rather than gettin a new engine unless the price is to close. thanks

What motor? Could be a head gasket. If that's the case then slap a new one on and ride.

its a 22re. again i havent really checked completely at where EXACTLY it is comin from. all i have seen at the moment is that it is comin from the block.

what part of block,where it meets the head?,or is it close to the timing chain cover?

it is around where the valve cover connects to the head. soon i will get some pics of it and u can see where it is.

yeah,pictures will help.It's probably something that can be fixed-Sometimes the timing chain guides break and the chain wears through on the inside,which would make it leak up front-totally repairable though.
