Engine overhaul -- permatex?

Ok I have a question about what parts need the permatex and what type to use. I knw the timing cover gets it , anywhere else? Can I just use sensor safe, high temp permatex on all the gaskets that need it? Is there a website that goes over the engine overhaul process?

Thanks guys. Trying to do this without this site would really be hard. Lots of info here.

Jason
