How do I remove my radio?

This 03 Tacoma I have is my first yota and I've never removed the radio in one. Can someone tell me how it comes out. It looks like the heating control panel overlaps the dash piece around the radio as well as the air bag cut off switch. I was afraid to start pulling and tugging. Thanks for any advise you can give.

Hey TRDTURD,
I'm going out on a limb here because I do not own a Toyota at the present time, but I do have tons of audio experience.
I'm assuming that your radio is a typical "DIN" style radio. If so, then you'll notice four small holes, two on each side, at the very outside edges of your radio. You can use number 8 naills to insert through the holes to "unlock" your radio. Then you can slide it right out.

Thanks, I did not see any holes in the face of the radio. I know what your talking about though, it's that way for Fords. I think I'll have to start at the bottom of the dash like fadetoblack said and see how that works.

I got the radio out. Start at the bottom and remove the plastic that holds the auxillary outlets. Remove two screws holding the ashtray frame in. Remove one screw behind ashtray. Remove air control knobs and snap off air control panel. Remove two more screws behind air control panel. Pull the plastic panel off. Thats its basically, I might have left out a screw but you'll know if you did.
