my oil light in my 94 4x4 pu 22re flickers on and off during turns and braking and on hills....sometimes it stays on for a while...i just rebuilt most of the engine but im not sure why the oil light would be coming on now.....could it have somthing to do with the oil pump?

\it is possible right beside the oil filter is a sensor if you can pull it out and get some metric fittings and a guage and check your oil pressure before searching anything else

I would get a pressure gauge on it asap. If the sensor is right, you are risking another overhaul by running it with too low oil pressure.
