Patch panels for an 86 PU bed?

The old PU has rust along the seam like many others. Giant holes actually.

Does anyone make a patch panel for this?

you could find a good used bed for good deal, not rare or anything, the cost and time it will take to repair rotted out bed just wont be worth it and it will just rot again with a vengence..
i removed mine and built a flatbed for now, less the truck blows up before i put a bed back on it.

good luck

Patching probably won't hold up. I replaced mine with a bed from an 89, no seams. It bolds right up. It is just a little wider, about 1/2" wider than the cab still looks good. If you didn't know you would never notice.

I would go with a fiberglass bed or a bed off of a 89 or newer. When I had my 1988 Toyota- the bed on that had some minor rust in the seams when I bought it. I paid to have all of the seams on the bed redone and filled so that water and debris could not get trapped in them. They held up but it was very costly to do that, it actually would have been cheaper for me to get a replacement bed. Here was my 1988:
