Power steering fluid vanishes. HELP!!!

I am completely stumped. My power steering fluid vanishes at the rate of about a pint every half hour. I checked the lines and didn’t see any leaks. There isn’t a drop of fluid under the car or on the frame. So, being completely stumped I took a gamble and put in a new power steering pump ($140). A few skinned knuckles later the fluid is still vanishing. Could it be getting burned up in the power steering gear for some reason,? If that was the case, wouldn’t I smell it? I haven’t a clue and neither does my neighbor who is also a backyard mechanic. BTW, the truck is a 92 4Runner I just got for $1500 dollars in pretty good shape.

anti lock brakes use pressure from pws pump

Just found out that the anti lock rear brakes uses fluid and pressure from the power steering pump so I'll be under the car tomorrow looking at the brakes for red fluid.
