Tweet placement in taco

Before I re-cloth my interior I will be installing my sterero components. Which of the below set ups gives better sounds for my after market JL tweets (silk dome) and why?

Thanks

^moderator has to move it. Or you can delete it then re post in audio.
If it were me, I'd install the system and temporarily put double stick tape on the tweets and try them in different spots for a while. That's what I did on my jeep. The sound will change with windows up or down, with or without passengers, etc. You'll want to try it each way for a while and decide what sounds best to you.

I would recommend the second picture, with the tweeters mounted high on the door. Having the tweeters mounted low, in the kick panels, will give poor performance because peoples legs will block the sound.
Remember this: You can "visualize" sound by considering tweeters to direct the high frequency sound much in the same way as a spot light directs a light beam. And woofers produce low frequency sound much in the same way as a flood light disperses light. This is the reason that tweeters and mids have a far greater impact upon stereo seperation than woofers do.
Also - Point the driver's side tweeter and mid toward the passenger, and point the passenger's side tweeter and mid toward the driver. This will help balance the channels without having to adjust the balance control and without reducing the sound quality for a passenger. The off-axis sound of the closest speaker is reduced, making the on-axis sound of the further speaker nearly equal.
