What's involved in installing a Rear Differential Lock on my '96 Tacoma Ext Cab 4wd 5sp....?

There's a lot more involded then just bolting it into place.
The four main differential adjustments
1)pinion depth
2)pinion bearing preload
3)backlash
4)carrier bearing preload

If you don't get them correct it may still work but it will wear out quickly

you might try a lock rite......they install without messing with the ring and pinion
