OEM Oil Filter Applications

I've got a couple of Toyotas - An '01 Tundra and a '95 Camry. I've always used OEM Toyota oil filters but the one frustrating issue I have with them is locating an oil filter application chart. Seems the Toyota counter gives me different filters at different times and tells me not to worry about it.

I've searched the net for a Toyota OEM oil filter application chart and no cigar. Or....can someone tell me the appropriate oil filter numbers for my '01 Tundra (and '95 Camry I4).

Thannks much.

In a way, it's simple, but in another way, it's not.
In another thread, I mentioned that Toyota makes filters in multiple countries. That adds to the confusion, because equivalent filters made in different countries have different part numbers. You probably keep getting different numbers because your dealer is stocking whichever one is the cheapest at the time. (Filters made in Japan are the most expensive, filters made in Thailand are in the middle but close to the bottom, and filters made in the U.S. are usually the least expensive.)

I've talked to the parts guy at my local dealer, and he has told me that there are now just three basic filters - one each for 4 cylinders, 6 cylinders, and 8 cylinders. If the dealer is telling you it's right, I'd believe it. There isn't that much difference between the various Toyota filters anyway, so if it fits properly, it should be fine. (The V8 filter isn't a whole lot bigger than the 4 cyl. filter.)
