Question 1994 4x4 Diff/trans Oil Intervals?

1994 SR5 R 4X4 MANUAL TRANS w/115000 miles

Manual seems to indicate R&R oil in differentials, transfer case, and tranny every 60k?
Not sure about this. How critical is this? I 4x4 about <5% of the mileage.
At $60 per unit, this is a bit pricey if done all at once...

Any advice welcome.

I would check the oil and see what it looks like. If it is milky in color definatly change it. If it is still nice and clear it should be fine. Also check the magnetic drain plug if you do change it for metal filings. Some is ok. I change my fluid once a year or when it gets water in it. I am currently getting ready to install breather extentions so I don't get water in the diffs. Do you do a lot of water crossings. If so I would reccomend putting the extentions on. It's a really easy mod. Look over at the YOTATECH website for the write-up

Thanks,
I changed out the transfer case which was easy, and checked the trans and rear diff. both looked clean and clear, so I'm good to go. The front diff fill plug is not accessable because of my skid plate. I do very little of roading except around the rancho on weekends hauling stuff, so I'm gonna call it good. NOt alot of water crossing here in the desert.
