Question Front end noises

1994 SR5 R 4X4 MANUAL TRANS w/115000 miles
Stopping and turning I've got clunks that have been getting progreeively louder.
Mainly hard turns "clunk", and when I stop and let of brake at stop signs.
Looking under the truck I can see that the little straight arms that go from the frame to the A-arms are looking iffy...the rubber is all corroded. Not sure what they are called. About 6" long on either side.
Could thid be it? What are they called?
Note: I've greased the steering stops repeatedly and they still have the plastic stops.

cv joints.....almost 100 percent positive, pain in the ass to change, but can be done in a day.

My CV boots are in good condition, no cracks, if that's any indication...
