need parts for cheap and help

I got an 85 pickup from my dad last month, and he had stripped the interior for light weight. it runs good, except for the sh**y gas mileage. In cali it was gettin 19--20 to the gallon now it seems to get about 12 in colorado springs, any suggestions would be great! I also need a brown drivers side door panel for a little, not $356$, dealer price. THANK YOU

Is it 4X4 or 2X4? Carb or fuel injection?

I would take the hubs off and reassemble them. Something is obviously amiss in the driver's side hub. BTW, it is possible to assemble them so they will not engage even though the knob turns.

You might find the problem by taking it off and checking it out before looking for a replacement. The hubs are not complicated.
