I agree. When you go shopping for a Toyota you usually cant haggled the window sticker price down much, if any at all. However, I think the phrase "you get what you pay for" holds true. Saving $5000 on the sticker price doest mean much when you are broke down on the middle of nowhere.
A friend of mine recently bought a brand-new Ranger. Its pretty much top of the line (4x4, extended cab, power everything, off-road package). The truck listed for $25,000 and with all of the factory rebates and some haggling he managed to get that truck for $18,000.
Great price, but for what its worth Id much rathar pay a little more for Toyota's superior quality and engineering.
