2nd Generation suspension question

alright cant get the lift i want for my 4runner yet so im looking for a different method ive bought some new heavy duty torsion bars for the front and about the back ive seen some spacers that you can put on top of the springs in the back i dont have leaf springs on my 90 runner so instead of the 4 inch suspension lift i was thinking of just going with the torsion bars up front and the spacers on the rear now my question is when off roading and while flexn what does what when you have one wheel up higher than the other front what what causes the body to stay level is it the shocks if someone could explain that to me it may help me understand alittle better the other question i have is how do you know what length shock to buy i would like to have as much wheel travel as possible on the ifs but running the 33 12.50s i cant turn very well on flat ground now i thank you for any help

I would pass on the rear spring spacers. If you go over a big bump the springs can pop out of the spring holders.
There is a big difference between building a rig cheap (spring spacers, body lift) and building it RIGHT (suspension lift, stronger joints).
Do the smart thing, build it RIGHT.

oh i agree totaly on building it right rather than cheap its for the moment im alittle straped for cash and i have the heavy duty torsion bars im going to put in for alittle more clearance up front and i cant think of any other way to level out the rear than the spacers or the lift which i cant afford at the moment at the moment the only reason i would be puting my 4runner in 4wheel drive is to pull my buddy outa the mud in his new isuzu so i dont think big bumps should be a problem but thanks for the advice i think i will have to just make do then unless you may know another way thanks again
