Emblems

Hi my name is Dennis and I'm from Alaska. I was just wondering if I removed my emblems off the taillgate would there be holes or is it a stick on sort of thing.

To the best of my knowledge, the emblems are stuck on with 2-sided tape.

Here's an update I just recently took off the emblems off my 2003 Tundra and there are no holes. And I tried using floss but it broke on me many times so I used fishing line it breaks but it takes awhile to break. I took off all the emblems on the tailgate. And I took off the SR5 emblems behind the rear windows. And I took off the emblems off the doors that say toyota tundra. The only emblems on my truck is the TRD sticker and the TOyota emblem in the grill.

I have removed emblems in the past and they tend to come off more easily if you use a hairdryer or heat gun to loosen up the two sided tape. You will have less fishing line breakage if you get the glue a little sticky. Just a thought.
