Question oil pressure guage down at low rpm

Hi,
I just purchased a 1994 TOYOTA EXTRA LONG WB DELUXE
Club Cab Rear wheel drive
Pickup with a 4-banger. The truck has a horizontal-bar oil guage with a 'normal???' range at the center third of the bar. Whenever I am moving along in the truck, the oil guage needle sits right in the middle of the guage. As soon as I come to a stop with the engine idleing, the pressure drops down to the left edge of the 'normal range'. As soon as I start moving again, the guage needle returns to the middle of the guage bar. Is this indicative of warn engine parts? ...something else?
Thank you -- Larry

If the needle sits at the middle during high engine RPMs then that's normal and when the engine idles (750 rpm) then the needle normally drops below half to the bottom.

Sidney,
Thank you for the reply! What a load off my mind. I thought I was in for a big repair bill right off the bat. I really appreciate you taking the time to address my ignorance.
Thank You! -- Larry
