The manual trucks come with 4.10 or 4.11 same difference most auto come with 4.30. Both axles must match or the tires will spin at different speeds and lead to damage. I would go with 4.56 if you are planning on running different sizes of tires. If you are only going to run 33 go with 4.88. Running that ratio with smaller tires is going to put highway rpms very high.
I must insist that 4.10 gearing is ONLY good for up to LT235/15 tires!!!!! That is roughly 28" tall. 30x9.5 is bearable to an extent. 32" is f'ng MISERABLE!!!!
The government has been all over manufacturers for decades. If TOYOTA took the logic of "up to 33" is OK", they would have installed 3.90's or "worse" right from the factory to increase MPG. The 1980 4x4 models run 3.90...this only lasted one year if memory serves...for good reson: it sucked!
Gears and tires are hand in glove. They must match.
