Angry Unable to remove key!

Key won't turn to off position, Finnally after removing battery so truck wouldn't go dead it goes into off position. So I figure it's not telling ignition switch it's in park. I went throug the fuse panel & started pulling fuses one at a time. With the accesory fuse removed, the key works fine. But without the fuse no Radio & some idiot lights come on. What I need to know now is there a switch somewhere in shifter that tells ignition that it's in park? Where is it located? pat name or number? Or anything that might help. Yes I tried other keys! Thanks for any help.

well I took the shifter cover off & unplugged some plug with 4 wires. the 4 wires split into 2 sets of 2. one goes to soleniod, other to a module of some sort.I replaced fuse & key & truck works fine. But I can pull the shifter out of park without using brake or pushing shifter button. I'll use the emergengy brake also in the mean time.
So I guess I'll buy one part at a time.Maybe I'll get it on the first try. Still gotta be cheaper then my local stealer(dealer) lol
