Question Gears

Alrite I did a search b4 i posted this.. i know u older members hate it when guys keep making the same post over and over again but then again how would a fourm function lol anyways I dished the cam idea and decided to get headers go figure ah oh yeah back to topic im thinkin on gettin 4.88 gears im not gonna be running like 33's i want 31's would this overkill or better? or should i opt for something shorter?

you wont need to change the gearing for the 31's. Id do that with 33's and up only. My 92 has stock gearing with 31's, and it goes with no trouble.

If you did put 4:88's on with 31's your gears would be alot shorter and your top speed would be lower. So if you were on the Highway or whatever it would be winding out a bit more.
