Header for a 1988 toy 4x4

I was looking to purchase a header for my truck, but am undecided on what brand. I was looking at either a headman or a pace setter. Any advice? I know lc engineering makes a good one, but I am not looking to spend that much because I can use the money difference for other upgrades.

Have you considered thorley headers. I just installed one on my 82 Toy and it fit perfect. I was looking around also and did not hear anything good about the 2 headers you are asking about. I purchased mine from summit racing for $175.

Downey Off-Road makes some good stuff too. I have had their headers on my 3.0 for about 2 1/2 years now with no problems.

i love my pacesetter. same design as the LC and Thorley, same great fit, but at a better price.
