Exclamation STUCK AT WORK, keep blowing EFI fuse

Ok, I really need help, Im stuck at work and cant figure out why I keep blowing EFI fuses. I made it here last night no problem, threw it in reverse and it stalled out. When I tried to start it nothing. I changed the fuse this morning and it started up for a bit, I was able to drive it 200 ft before I parked it, ran inside and it died by the time I came out. Now I cant even get it to start w/o blowing. I checked for wires just laying around and found none. If you can help me you'll be my hero for the day. I gotta be back to work in less than 12 hours so Im trying to get the hell outta here.

BTW its a 93 Pickup

sound like a shorted wire. no easy way i know to find this just time. I would start from under the dash and go from there to the hood compartment then to the tank.

Look inside the distributor for a capacitor. Inspect the capacitor once you find it for internal melting. This is a fairly common problem on several toyotas.

I just had the same problem on my 93 T100 with the 3.0L V6 in it. If you have the same engine it could be the fuel pumpl. The fuel pump is powered through the EFI fuse. My Fuel pump was shorting out. Turn on the Ignition switch but do not start the engine. On the diagnostic port in the engine compartment bridge the terminals +B and FP with a jumper wire. The fuel pump should now be activated. If the fuse blows with the jumper wire it is the fuel pump. -Good luck
