could i slap on an ifs where in placement of my solid? im more of a mud. snow guy.
Is there an easier way to soften up the ride? My shocks are rancho that came w/ the lift, that are about 19yrs old. Would getting new shocks soften up the ride, if so what should i look for in a cheap price range? Does anyone know about replacing the bushings? is it easy, hard, long, short?

dude, i have never really heard of people swapping a solid to ifs. it is almost always done the other way around. it would involve a lot of work on the frame and a butt load of custom fabrication. if you really want to do it, i guess you could, but a solid is more than adequate for the mud. all you have to do is keep the diff out of the muck.
HAHA, that was the exact kind of truck I was looking for when I found mine, but I'm planning on keeping mine for at least a few more years to save for a nicer truck. Your truck is very desirable to many people though. The only year with EFI and SFA, damn dude, why would you ever want to sell that?
Just for info, how many miles do you have? Ext. cab or single? What color?
he's right. the efi and solid axle combo are a desiriable pair for basic rock crawlers and stuff like that. that's a fairly hard to find rig you got there.
its got 184000, std cab. and its tan/ yellow. it doesnt have enough umpf for me, or room. i need an extra cab. and a longer bed to carry my quad and gear.
yeah you can not see any scratches unless you are looking at it up close and personal. And the dents are hard to notice. but my dad did a lot of bush offroading so it got really scratched.
