Simple thread that needs one straight answer.....

I'm new here, but I know how to use a forum. I want to know the specs for the 1997 Toyota Tacoma using an inline-4. I timed my dad's Tacoma 0-60 time and I counted 5 seconds. (People are saying that's bullsh!t) Somebody PLEASE VERIFY THIS.....

thats definetly bull. stock trucks, no matter what make, just don't do that. a f-150 svt lightning pulls 0 to 60 in 5.5, and a 93 supra turbo does it 5. the taco is a fast truck, but it aint that fast.

I would say that a 5 second 0-60 for a 4-banger Tacoma is pretty impressive. I would say its MUCH closer to 8 seconds.

It takes me 5 Sec. to reach 60 MPH in my stock 92 pickup... 3 or 4 times.
