2nd Generation spare tire carrier

was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to mount a spare tire carrier that is hinged from the back of the 4runner instead of having the tire underneath the it. i know its possible but how hard would it be i pretty sure ive seen some on 4runners before but i may be wrong let me know whatcha think thanks for anyhelp

It would seem like even if they don't make one for a 4runner that you could weld/bolt one on from another vehicle like a Bronco or something.
