ECU resetting?

Can you really "reset" the ECU for the 22RE? The guy at Cal Mini Trucks says "yes" and makes it seem like after any performance upgrades you need to do this. Won't tell me how it's done (i don't blame him, it's how he makes his money, i guess). Anybody out there that can confirm or deny. And if it IS true, how?

There might also be a fuse for the ECU in the fuse box that you can remove to cut the power and then replace it.

Thanks! I'm thinking i end up resetting that ECU every couple of weeks when i unhook the ground to work on the body or electrical. I originally was thinking that resetting the ECU might correct my engine running rich.........now it must be something else.

i'll try the MAF trick...... i had the guys at Cal Mini Truck do some "tricks" a while back and i believe they bumped up the MAF a little. it ran fine and the a/f mixture was coming in fine. now all of a sudden it's running rich. i haven't done anything to it recently except add a hyper-ground system. i can't believe that by adding a thicker grounding wire system would cause the motor to run rich. i've tuned the motor (new plugs, cap, rotor, adjusted valves) and it's still running rich! maybe clogged vacuum lines?
