The color of the instrument cluster and heater controls are based on the color of the rubber boot or condom that is placed on top of each 12v mini bulb, just go to your local tv,vcr and car stereo repair shops and ask them for the rubber mini bulb boots and they will give you for free any old green, blue, orange or yellow boots from old non working scrapped radios or home stereos.

Even though it is the rubber over the bulb, you can still replace these bulbs for around $4-5. You can get green, red, and blue which is what I've seen at parts stores. I have red in my truck---look at sig.
I have not found the cluster bulbs anywhere but at the dealer and he usually has to order them for me. Where is everyone else getting them. I tried NAPA and autozone.

Wow really? It may because our trucks are different year models? My cluster bulbs are in electrical sockets that you twist and pull the socket and bulb out of on the back of the cluster. I basically just took the bulb to the parts store and got replacements by a bulb manufacturer named "Victor." They are quite small bulbs. I got mine at Advance Auto Parts, but I have seen them in Autozone and Napa before.
