Venom 400

Has anyone tried the venom 400 module. I know it claims a 25% gain, but I think that is a little overrated.

you will never get the full power gains that are claimed on the box. if it says 25% estimate like 18%. they usually mean power at the flywheel. the problem is that all of that power does not make it to the wheels. you lose some through the drivetrain, friction, gears, etc.

I know you will usually loose 15 to 30 percent through the drive line. I was just wondering if it made a difference because air and fuel is what makes power. It can put more fuel in but it can't let more air in. The throttle body and intake will only flow so much. Then you can't put more in the combustion chambers because the cam will only open for so long.

to solve the air flow problem just get an FIPK K&N kit. the forced air kits put more air into your engine to mix with that extra fuel.
