Temporary Disableing of Driver Air Bag?

Hi~ I've had my Tacoma 4X4 since when it was new in '99. It's a work vehicle, mainly used for hauling stuff to the post office everyday. In the winter it is also used to plow our warehouse parking lot as well as a few other driveways nearby. I've always wondered if there was a way I could disable the driver's side airbag during plowing. Once in a while you hit something crusty or plow into an old hard snow bank, etc. and get a pretty good jolt. The first couple of times I used it I was quite nervous that I was going to get a face full of airbag, but so far I've had no problem and it's now been a few years. So It'll probably never happen. But it still seems like it could happen and I'd be a bit more comfortable with it disabled during plowing. Anybody know how to do that just temporarily? Thanks!

Pull out the ecu1 fuse and it should disable it.

Hmm! Wish I'd-a thought of that! Good idea, thanks! I'll do that next time and I won't have to worry about getting an involuntary nose job!

Cheers!
