86 SR5 4x4 Tuneing fork noise @ 58mph
This truck is in very nice well kept condition for a 86.200K on the truck.I rebuilt the motor last year and it runs great.I just started experiencing a high pitched tuneing fork noise at around 55 to 60 mph.This noise is there every time it reaches that speed.Sometimes i hear it at a lower speed but not nearly as noticeable.I was sure it must be the rear gears or a bearing gone bad in the pumpkin.I changed both last week and the noise is still there. Does anyone have any ideas as how to locate this noise?Or possibly this is something that you have expierienced before?Can anyone help.Steve
