Canada breather's on front and rear diffs of 87 toy p/u

hey, just wondering if anybody has any advice on length, size, and where to put a breather line for the front and rear diffs on my 87 toyota p/u. I plan on doing a lot of mudding and stuff like that, i've already been and didn't know about the breather's so now i have to drain them, but hopefully i can get some advice on the breather's. anything would be greatly appreciated.

They have little vents near the top of the diffs with caps that are suppose to close when sumerged. All you have to do is pop that cap off and find a hose to fit the tube and run it as high as you can usually the engine compartment.
