no ign no fuel no spark

i picked up a 97 runner that needed a motor, the old motor the oil wasnt changed in 140k so it was all gunked up inside but anyways it still ran i drove it to my house, i got the reman motor put it in, i go to start it i get nothing, it acts like im in gear or like a neutral safety switch but the fuel pump doesnt kick on, and yes its in park and yes the transfer case isnt in neutral. i tested the started relay it was fine, i looked for a missing ground found nothing, i checked both efi relays got nothing, so i leaned towards the alarm pretty sure it was rs2000, pulled it out, now i can jump the started relay and it cranks but still no pump, jump the efi relay inside the car by the fuse panel pump turns on, jumped both and tried to start it no spark, checked all the fuses, it sounds to me like a ground isnt hooked up but i cant find anything, if anyone has a wiring diagram or any info on this it would be greatly appreciated for a toyota newbie like myself.

Pick up a Haynes manual for around $14-$20(any automotive store and most wal-marts). It has all of the wiring diagrams you need. If the vehicle has an alarm wired in it is probably your issue. If it was wired through the ignition switch and through the starter solenoid it could be disabling both. I would try and find a wiring diagram for the alarm system to determine where it is disabling your system. Good luck.

yeah the mass air flow is plugged in and has power going to it, i scanned the computer and it did come up with a mass air flow sensor code, i cant seem to find a circuit that has all 3 problems on it, i looked in haynes i looked on mitchell, most of the wires i follow go to the computer but that doesnt control the pump, looks like im dealing with more then 1 problem here

Are you sure your wiring harness and ECM are compatible with the 2000 engine? What other changes have you done besides setting the engine in? Wiring harness swap, ECM swap, sensors swapped, etc!!!

basically i did just drop the motor in, the motor was a basic short block i had to reuse everything from the old motor, sensors, valve covers, intake, oil pan, wiring harness, computer, the motor was a remanufacturued, but i dont know if the engine guy ordered it with a vin number, probably not, the more i check wires the more i see that most of them go into the computer, maybe it doesnt work with the motor, i dont know what to do
