Hi folks I just purchased a 2002 rav4 and would like some info on a few things. Its my 1st import and what kind og mileage can i expect with it. Also is the reliability good on this rav??. I have done some homework on it but would like real owners or folks that are knowledgeable to give a it a shot. Its a 2002 rav4 4wd 2.0

Thanks and regards Jim

the rav 4 should get desent gas milage, like mid 20's, but i am not sure. my friend's mom has one. it should be reliable to, i don't think that they have had any problems with their's other that the driver seat ripping, but that was there fault.

You should be able to get 25-30 mpg with the RAV.
As for reliability, well, lets just say, its a Toyota, nothing more needs to be said...
Since this is your first import, you probably dont know what I mean by that, so let me use plain talk: it will be VERY reliable.

Yeah, the Rav4 sure isn't a very popular vehicle of discussion here as you've noticed. You'll probably find more info at Rav4World.com.

Actually, I think RAV4World.com got taken down. The lady who was running it had gotten too busy with her family life and career to run it any more.

Nope, rav4world has been back up for months already. Oh, and Kelly, the person running the boards, is a "HE" but we all made that mistake when we first posted there.
