Mileage Club?

Okay, so who has the most mileage on their stock engine, WITHOUT a bottom end rebuild? My current 91 Toyota Pickup 2wd with 22re currently had 323k on the odo, with only a headgasket replacement... the damn thing is even on its original clutch!! lets see what you got?

You got me beat. I don't have a ton of milage, but I thought I was doing pretty good with the original 21 year old clutch unitl I saw your post. You must baby it like I do.

I did however come across a post on yahoo by a guy named Dave, claiming he had over 500,000 miles without any bottom end work. I found his intro kinda funny:

"My 87 engine is starting to die after over 500K miles. Yes, it
survived longer than the speedo and a bunch of other stuff......"

Yeah, down here in Gainesville at the Toyota dealership there is a employee with a truck that has 564,325 miles on it. Mine only has 210,000 miles at the moment.

The only truck I know of that has more miles than mine (in the local area), is my fathers friend's Nissan.. amazingly he has 765k+ on it.. its hella crazy, but i dont know if he is on the original engine, somehow i doubt it.
