New Bed

I've got an 88 pickup, and the bed on it is totaled, Not only was I t-boned, but there was a plastic bed liner in it that rested parts of it all the way through. My truck is a reg cab, long bed, and I was wondering if I could just get a short bed and put it on there. A friend of mine said I have an extended frame and extended wheel base, but then again he doesnt work on anything but chevys. I was also wondering about newer model fenders and hood. Could somebody give me a basic description of my frame and what years it was made?

i have a bed if you need. It is black and would need very little body work. I bought for my truck but have never got around to installing. I would like $400.00. Beds have been discontinued form Toyota as I have tried in vain to find a new one. PLease let me know if you are interested

short bed will not fit . well it would but there would be a 9" gap between the cab and bed , in order to get the wheel well centered over the tire . Mounts would not work , you would have to modify ... That said , any long box from 84-88 is a direct replacement . 79-83 long will fit as well , with minimal modifications , dosent look very good in my opinion though . 89-95 longwill also work , but same thing as the 79-83 . body lines are close , but dont really match .

NEW fiberglass in stock . @ http://www.****************.com

Ok, might sound like a stupd question, but is the shell the same on the 88-95? Like to make the body lines match, could I get som 95 doors, frenders, hood, grill, and front bumper?
