Any compacts faster than the Tacoma?

I'm pretty sure there are no 4-bangers compact trucks that are as fast, but I was wondering which 6 cylinder trucks are quiker than a reg. cab 2wd 5-speed Tacoma?

Most likely the Xterra supercharged and other Nissan V6's.
Honda's and Suzuki's are slow...Mercedes are OK, but slower than Nissans...um...BMW doesn't use V6es...American iron puts out the Trailblazer...Toyota trucks are midpack...but pack a lot of low end torque...

im pretty sure the newer nissan trucks are quicker...i know that the frontiers run at 265hp 4.0l v6 and have 284lbs torque. i had the older model frontier which too me was slow; i also wanted a change to the taco.

the older supercharged nissans were pigs, they really didn't have the go that the supercharger would suggest

Motor Trend did a shootout and the Tacoma beat the supercharged Frontier.
The only compact/midsize truck that I think would bet a Tacoma would be a Dakota with a V8.

Stock the Tacoma is the fastest. The Dakota V8 is junk, rated at 230hp. The current Frontier has no supercharger (yet), the old one was rated at 210 hp in the prev gen Frontier.
