Exclamation Toyoda!

No, the topic is spelled right. I was taking pictures of my ram air, and I decided to take a picture of my power steering cap. Is it just me, or do all trucks have this cap?

mine says toyoda too (85) so that ram air you just cut the flap and added a k&n?? cool. i was thinking about it today, but was worried about the mud and guck from boggin. but the hole solved my worries. If you put a little computer fan in the hose, would that help? electric or not. wouldn't it create a vortex type windage? faster air flow

Well, they make a "tornado" thing that goes right outside your intake manifold, but I'm skeptical. It seems like if you put a fan there, that air isnt going to still be spinning through that filter, same with the intake manifold. I dont think air is still going to be spinning for more than a few inches.

As for mud and the hole, its not very big. The mud might be a little much for that. What you might consider is getting some chicken wire from home depot, and drilling some small holes in your grill above and below the intake hole. Then get some slim zip ties, and zip tie that chicken wire into the grill to catch bigger chunks of debris from getting through the grill.

That is funny... you made me go out and look!
My 2000 doesn't have any brands on the caps. Each cap says the purpose of the fluid (for example, "POWER STEERING FLUID") and the kind of fluid to use ("USE DEXRON ATF").

Thats interesting. Did you know that the last name of the family who founded Toyota was actually spelt "T-O-Y-O-D-A"?
Apparently, because the letter "d" is the 4th letter of the aphabet, its considered unlucky. They used the letter "T" instead.
Cap'n
