How difficult is it to remove the mass air flow sensor? I have seen air intake kits, and the mass air flow sensor was removed so is it too difficult to take off? Or will the truck suffer, without it? Thanks.

the truck wont run with out the MAF because its efi. I would think is pretty easy to take it off if u were to put a new intake setup, they all utilize the maf but mount them in different areas.

You would need to install a stand alone engine management system-about$600 but then you can tune to whatever specs...

Just leave the system stock and do cuts like I did in my ram air system, Its alot cheaper anyway.
