Grease the entire bushing(suspension bushings) with the grease that comes with them. If not you might be getting suspension squeaks.

it shouldn't water doesnt effect the grease on my 85 and its been there for a while. I havent greased anything since my dad gave it to me, however he took great care of the under carriage. if you get squeaks use white lithium grease on the bushings, autozone and such have white lithium grease.
