Best places for offroad/performace parts.
In a few weeks (hopefully) i will be thinking about putting some money into my truck be means of body work and paint, intake work and pipes, (maybe headers), and down the road maybe bigger tires and/or new rims. I would like to know a place online preferrably where i can locate some good deals on this kind of stuff. I nkow about performance products, but would also like to know other places to shop around. Also, what is the best headers i can buy that i dont have to take out a loan for. im trying to get the truck fixed up by the time i get my liscense in october. its ok to drive now, but it looks rough (dents and chips out of the hood) and lacks the power id like it to have. I know its not a V8, but id like to get more power through the RPM's a little higher. I am in high school with a part time job, so im not looking to spend a whole lot, but enough to suit me.
Heres what id like to do.
new shocks (ranchos suck that are on it)
light bar for my offroad light up front
simulated hood scoop
paint
spray in liner
intake (most likely elbow removal will be good enough for me)
cat back 2.5" exhaust (sound and a little power)
larger tires/rims maybe down the line further
any suggestions are welcome to what i should/should not do, or any good websites.
thanks
-Adam-
