Yeah, toyota made that combo, although they are pretty darn rare. I don't think I've seen one in years. Consider youself having the best of both worlds of having a long bed and more space in the cab. Wished my 84 sr5 lonbed was an extracab with my height being 6'1

THANK-YOU!!! I'd love to keep it but my soon-to-be ex just thrashes it. I check the fluids when he is at work - cuz he doesn't. The oil gasket has needed to be replaced for 4 years (or more, time flies when you are having fun ) and the only reason it has survived is cuz it only gets driven to the closest 18-pack. Don't get me wrong - nothing like a cold beer (it was 121 yesterday!!) but don't hurt my toy!! Any idea how much it would cost to put AC in it??

Hey neighbor!! no A/C at all - definitely needed it yesterday - good thing I it's my "2nd" vehicle. I'm currently checking out a post re: cheap a/c in a truck - from what I can tell it's a portable unit set up in the bed of the truck - interesting...

I read the post before. Don't think I would do that to my truck but you have to give him an A for originality.

According to ackits.com, $643.23 for the entire system assuming you have the bullet proof 4 cyl. That doesn't include the labor to install it, pull a vacuum, and charge it with freon though. I've heard that it's pretty darn easy to install since toyota set up all of their trucks to accomadate a/c.
