What year would interchange with a 85 2wheel drive?

84-88. But on some items, it depends. For instance, take the front bumpers. Any year will bolt up, but 84-86 is different from 87-88. And some (but very few) body parts from the 84-88 will not bolt up. All fenders, beds, and doors will work from any year (and that includes 4x4 rigs). What particular body part are you trying to cross reference?

I need a driver side fender, hood and maybe a door.

Drivers side fender will work from any 2wd from 84-88. A 4wd fender will bolt up, but it is flared and looks funky on a 2wd in my opinion. Hood and door will work from any 84-88 2wd, 4wd and 84-89 4runner.
