Catalytic Converter

Hello, every one....

The Catalytic converter of my 1992 land Cruiser is damaged, but to get a new OEM will cost me an eye and a leg, I was look for an aftermarket replacement but I dont find it on the WEB, does any one know were can I find it?

Also I was thinking to remove it and weld a pipe instead of it, but i don't know if this can damage something else...

Any advice will be apreciate...

Does your cat have an o2 sensor in it?you would want to include that in your new pipe if you get rid of the cat.Do you have emissions tests for the vehicle fitness tests?

You can get a generic Catalytic Converter from a company like JEGS or SUMMIT RACING. They have catalogs that come out rapidly. Look around there.
