Value tick noise 4.0

Hey whats up? I have a 2005 Tacoma with the 4.0 V6, and I was wondering is any 4-Runner owners out their experiencing the value tick noise. I am haveing the noise when sitting still and when driving. This is very annoying and just trying to find ou t if the 4-Runner is having the same promblem too. If so it will help me to better determine wheather its just my truck or if its just that particular motor.

Not the same truck as yours but I have the same motor in my 05 Tundra. I've never heard any ticking other than after a cold start but that was on during the break in period. I am running mobil 1 oil and use 87 octane gas.
